Vinita Nair

Nair joined the station in July of 2004 and began reporting on many subjects, such as that of the Jon Benet Ramsey murder investigation and school shootings in Bailey, Colorado. Nair began her career as an ABC News anchor/correspondent in December 2007 and was working for ABC News Now. She was responsible for anchoring live news coverage as well as briefings on ABC's network's digital platforms. Nair was co-anchoring World News Now on ABC from September 17, 2008. until February 18, 2011, as well as America This Morning. She co-hosted with Jeremy Hubbard and later Rob Nelson for both of the shows. Nair informed the audience on World News Now that she will not appear on World News Now after Friday 18th of February 2011. The day she would leave ABC News would be Friday the 18th of February. Peggy Bunker, a former anchor for KDVR Denver, was her the direct successor. World News Now, February 18 was the first of three segments that paid tribute to Nair. The former and present colleagues were featured in the segments. In her final morning the crew was treated by Nair with a tasty breakfast. Vinita Vinita Vinita Vinita
