After his school days Lars joined the military where he performed his military basic service for nine months in the Kongelige Livgarde (Royal Guards) which was an infantry regiment of the Danish army. After having completed his military service he decided that it wasn't what he was looking for and began to look for something different. He decided to pursue a degree in biology. Anette returned from a juggler's course and showed Lars how much she could manage in three days, despite the fact that Lars was already working for half a year. Lars was pleased about it and wanted to attempt it also. He decided to drop out of college and went to the juggler's academy as well. At this school he learned fire breathing and juggling, among other things. After graduating from high school, he travelled around Europe with two of his friends where he performed in the streets of Paris, Munich, Moscow, Warsaw, and other cities. He was introduced to a kids' circus two years later. The circus also taught him pantomimes for children's theater and street performances.
