Alinity Divine
Alinity was a plaintiff in a suit against Twitch. Erik Estavillo, a Twitch user from California filed a civil lawsuit for damages of $25 million from Twitch due to their exposure to "overly sexually suggestive content from various female streamers" while using the site. Based on court documents discovered from Dexerto, the plaintiff, who was previously sued by Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo and Blizzard Entertainment, submitted the formal complaint to the court on June 15 seeking to file a lawsuit. Twitch itself was served with an formal summons on June 19. Estavillo, according to the Santa Clara Superior Court of California complaint, suffers from a number health issues which force him to depend solely on internet for entertainment. He also has obsessive compulsive disorder, and an addiction to drugs and alcohol. Based on the complaint, Twitch makes these issues more severe. There are also female Twitch streamers who claim that they "continue in exposing viewers to sexy and addictive content daily on a regular and regular daily basis." Alinity does not appear on the list. The complaint calls for all streamers mentioned above to be permanently barred from Twitch to be convicted of violating the terms of service. The complaint also demands an amount of $25 million as compensation that will "be divided equally among the plaintiff and other Twitch Turbo Subscribers and any remaining funds."
